At the New Products Exhibition at the Salon Gourmets Fair, we can keep up with the latest news as well as analyse progress in the sector and view more than 1,300 quality food and drinks. It is one of the busiest areas of the Exhibition, arousing the interest of professional visitors, as well as attracting the attention of major national and international media outlets.
With the co-operation of a jury of experts, we convened the Gourmets Fair Awards based on three categories:
Innovation Award: It recognizes the investment made by companies in RD&D and is awarded to a unique product that is original and represents, with its launch on the market, an advance for the sector and for the consumers.
Presentation Award: It is based on the coherence of two basic concepts: the aesthetic factor, which considers the presentation of the product; and the informative factor, from the point of view of the consumer. The aim is to reward the balance between the attractive quality of the product’s packaging and the information that provides accurate details regarding its nutritional values.
Versatility Award: This award is granted to the product whose uniqueness enriches gastronomic heritage due to its multiple applications.
Undoubtedly, after 25 consecutive editions, the New Products Exhibition continues to attract lots of attention and has become the most media-focused area of the Gourmets Fair, as it sets the national and international culinary trends for the following year.
